  1. 245 Salvations in less than 7 months
  2. Outreach touching thousands
  3. New people

 

REVIVAL IS SOMETHING GOD WANTS

We are agreeing with God, not begging Him to do something

 

WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT’S WHY FOR REVIVAL?

  1. It is you! You are God’s why.
  2. It’s not only you, it’s the person next to you
  3. The person that you work with, that you might not like. They are God’s why.

 

Psalm 8:4-6 (NKJV)

4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visithim?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,

 

 

REVIVAL IS TO REVIVE GOD’S PEOPLE!

  1. We often get comfortable.
  2. We all plateau.
  3. We get in our nest and say, I’m good right here.

 

Isaiah 40:31(NKJV)

31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

 

The Hebrew word “wait” actually means: To bind together.

 

HOLY SPIRIT IN REVIVAL

  1. Imagine a church where the children of every believer return to the Lord.
  2. Imagine a church where cancer can’t exist
  3. Imagine a church where there is a 0% divorce rate
  4. Imagine a church where every sick person is healed
  5. The bad things don’t exist in heaven and it couldn’t exist around Jesus.

 

 

Matthew 6:9-10 (NKJV)

9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

 

  1. The gifts that the Holy Spirit have given you are to bring heaven to earth.
  2. God has given us authority on earth.
  3. God’s will on earth is going to be accomplished through His people.
  4. One way this is accomplished, is through the Gifts of the Spirit.
  5. The foundation of all the gifts of the Spirit is love. God’s love for us and our love for others.

 

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NKJV)

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 

 

Colossians 1:8-10(NLT)

8 He has told us about the love for others that the Holy Spirit has given you.9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
