44 He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets and in the Psalms concerning Me.” – Luke 24:44 (MEV)
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” – Galatians 5:14 (NKJV)

“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” – Luke 24:49 (NKJV)
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called OLIVET… they entered into the upper room… they continued with one accord in prayer…
(Most scholars believe they were there for 10 days)

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all filled with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided or distributed and resting on them tongues as of fire, as one that sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues (or a language not known to them), as the (Holy) Spirit gave them utterance (or the ability). – Acts 2:1 – 4 (NKJV)
TRANSITION FROM:
THE OLD TESTAMENT LAW THAT HAD BEEN FULFILLED (MOSES)
TO
NEW TESTAMENT COVENANT AND GRACE (JESUS)
TWO DIMENSIONS OF GRACE
Grace IS – the power to be, what you don’t have the power to be; and is the power to do, what you don’t have the power to do.
Grace DOES – teaching us…how to walk out this new life, how to serve others, how to live soberly or clear-minded, how to live righteously and godly in this present age.
11 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,” – Titus 2:11 – 12 (NKJV)
You can only get rid of the thoughts by replacing them with other thoughts.
