Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— – Ephesians 6:10-18 NKJV
We have an enemy and we are in a spiritual fight.

They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. They weren’t in love with themselves; they were willing to die for Christ. So rejoice, O Heavens, and all who live there, but doom to earth and sea, For the Devil’s come down on you with both feet; he’s had a great fall; He’s wild and raging with anger; he hasn’t much time and he knows it. – Revelation 12:11-12 MSG
The Power of the Blood
Spiritual warfare begins and ends at the foot of the cross.
For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. – 1 Corinthians 2:2 NKJV
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ – Leviticus 17:11 NKJV
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. – Romans 5:9 NKJV
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace – Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. – Ephesians 2:3 NKJV
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, – Hebrews 10:19-20 NKJV
The blood of Jesus is the single most powerful substance in the cosmos.
Applying the blood?
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9 NKJV
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. – James 4:7 NKJV
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. – John 6:53 NKJV
Communion isn’t ritual, it’s warfare.
