Romans 12:6-8 (NKJV)
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
I Corinthians 12:4-11(NKJV)
4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works [e]all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by [f]the same Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
I Timothy 4:14 (NKJV)
14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
ameleo “to overlook or regard lightly” or
“to not think about or to pay no attention to”
Disappointment – “I tried it and it didn’t work”
“It wasn’t producing according to his expectations.”
Deterrent – the remarks or criticism of others. “it wasn’t received”
Re-Directed thoughts – the fear of failing “why try if it’s not going to work.”
2 Timothy 1:6 (NKJV)
6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
anazopureo “to revive a fire” or
“to cause something to begin again”
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
A spirit of deilia “timidity which comes by intimidation,”
In other words, you became timid from being intimidated.
