Bible
Joshua 21:43-45 (NLT)

In the Old Testament, What were some of the promises?

The Lord promised “I promise” to their ancestors to give Israel land.

The Lord solemnly promised “I Promise” to their ancestors to give them rest
   From war on every side.

None of their enemies could stand against them, you will always win.

For the Lord helped them conquer all their enemies.

Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of

Israel was left unfulfilled.

Everything He had spoken came true. “I promise”

“When God makes a promise, He will fulfill His promise as we fulfill

   the conditions of that promise.”
Robert Morris

The Conditions of the Promise

They had to take possession of and settle there.
They were given rest but they had to rest.
They had to conquer the enemies, they had to do the fighting.

Are there any promises in the New Testament?
